2019 ... last stop before the next decade!!

Thriving 2019 has come to an end and the year seems to have flown by! So we decided to take a final 2019 moment and reflect on some of our favourite moments and achievements. Importantly, we also wanted to take the time to extend our many thanks to all of those who have been involved and supported #TeamThriving in 2019.

Thriving grew, expanded and developed our services throughout 2019. This would not have been possible without the help and support of our partners Telethon 7 and UWA, staff, volunteers and of course the Thriving families. So thank you for the ongoing hard-work, commitment, support and feedback we receive and that allows us to conquer our goals and tackle any speed-bumps along the way.

Now, let's sit back and enjoy a enjoy a quick snapshot of #Thriving2019

Notable Events:

  • Over the last few years, thanks to our valuable partners, we have been able to pursue our not-for-profit objectives and grow. And now we have officially ditched the training wheels to stand on our own two feet as a fully-fledged independent health promotion charity! We are looking forward to not only continuing our partnerships, but also our fundraising initiatives in 2020 and building on our charitable endeavours to support the health of young people into the future!

  • TeamThriving embraced this years Telethon Weekend theme "Paint the Town Red" and took part in the Telethon beneficiaries expo at Perth Convention Centre. Telethon with the support of the WA community, raised over $42 million to support WA kids and young people.
